Maximize Conversion : Fashion UI

Overview

A presentation hosted between Jenn Studio and TFI (Toronto Fashion Incubator) for aspiring fashion designers looking to launch their own e-commerce sites, as well as entrepreneurs aiming to maximize sales on the Shopify platform. The presentation was later showcased at Toronto Tech Week.

Problem:

Aspiring fashion designers and Shopify store owners struggle to optimize their sites for conversions due to limited UX/UI knowledge

Solution:

We created a presentation showing a high-converting fashion app demo. We explained what makes the app successful so Shopify store owners could apply these tips to boost sales.

My Contributions

  • Researched UX trends – Conducted competitive analysis of 70+ fashion brands, supplemented by data from multiple credible e-commerce sources. Organized findings into actionable insights to inform design decisions.

  • Designed the app prototype – Developed all mockups from scratch with a focus on high-converting features, ensuring an intuitive and effective user experience.

  • Layout and designed slide deck – Designed a clean, engaging, and easy-to-follow presentation to effectively communicate key insights and design solutions.

My research combines online sources (like Shopify) with firsthand insights from Jenn, a 10-year e-commerce design veteran. It was important to Jenn that this data remained credible, as that's what the studio was known for.

Due to the majority of consumers using mobile devices to make purchases, we decided to exclusively focus on mobile design
