Kimchi Festival

Overview
I designed the brand identity for the Kimchi Festival, a fictional event celebrating Korea’s iconic dish and its countless variations. The challenge was balancing English and Korean typography since the festival takes place in Toronto, catering to both Korean communities and global audiences eager to explore the culture. I aimed to reflect Korean aesthetics without relying on overused Asian design clichés, opting for bold, modern visuals that feel fresh yet rooted in tradition.
